In January, internet users viewed 9.8 billion videos online, and more than 139 million US internet users spent an average of 206 minutes viewing online videos (comScore). U nless properly managed, bandwidth-intensive applications could strain the Internet’s capacity/infrastructure and prevent the emergence of exciting new applications key to broadband adoption.
