Over a Billion Minutes Served

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s report that the coveted 18-24 year old demo is now watching more videos online than on cable and broadcast TV, Microsoft and Netflix have announced that more than one million Xbox 360 users have watched videos from Netflix on their gaming machine. And that’s just in the past three months, which means the number of users is averaging more than 13,000 a day.

That’s not all. As CNet reports, users have already watched more than 1.5 billion—that’s billion—minutes of streaming video since Netflix started offering the service on the console.
